Lathe work
A few pics of the spindle protector I made for my lathe ..the threads are not deep enough..its a prototype .... the tool post rotates under load ..needs locking somehow. The thread cutting tool is a chunk of HSS steel I ground into shape..A job like this is really on the edge of my lathes ability ...it's only a small lathe and has limited grunt . MIKE
