Brian
I passed through there this morning, having driven through my old haunts in Barriefield earlier in the week. Alas, I had no carrier with me! I wonder how much I missed it by? Randy

That was me and my son bringing the Carrier home from Nova Scotia to Ontario. Quite the adventure. Balmy weather to minus 4 without the windchill, then freezing rain, snowed in and so on !
I will be posting some photos soon and hopefully you folks can help me identify some parts and tell me what is obviously missing. The interesting part of the trip coming home was from old timers coming up to us while fueling up. I have possibly another couple lined up for extraction in August! Jim

Hi All
I really get a kick out of MLU, how many members do we have? With just a few well trained spotters they spot a vehicle on the move across the many miles of road in Canada. Then in under 18 hours they identify the owner and destination of the vehicles. Cheers Phil

We would all make really good spies wouldn't we!
I guess really what is so much a part of this is that there are so few routes to travel on long distance on that the chances of being spotted are high. R |

Dragging a carrier around the country is also known as "trolling":
You stop at every gas station and coffee shop that old-timers frequent, and make sure you are parked right out front. They come like flies to honey, and you can develop a couple of leads at every stop. |

Hans,
You do bring up a very good point about trolling. Every time I have something green loaded on the trailer everyone comes up to me to tell me about a jeep (like I care ![]() I really should do that more often, maybe I should go down near Maryhill Ont and see what people will tell me is in barns around the area. Maybe there are some Land Roves down that way . . . R ![]() |

Maybe there are some Land Roves down that way . . . (Just don't expect them to say anything nice..) i will tell you about a local mystery - when next I see you
