While on a NATO exercise in 1982 or 1983 I took the attached photos of West German armoured vehicles passing along a road in Fulhen, near Hess, Oldendorf (near the River Wesser). I've been told that the first vehicle is a Jaguar but can anyone positively identify it and confirm what weapons it carried. The second photo is a JagdPanzer Kanone JPZ 4-5 I think, but what use would it have been without a 90 mm gun! Any clues? I have an idea that these vehicles belonged to the 2nd Panzer Brigade

Top pic is the Jaguar, appears to be an early model or stripped down to some degree. The bottom pic is a converted Kanone. These had the front hulls plated over after a couple of nasty problems arose with the deployment of the Jpz's. They were latter refitted for TOW anti tank duties and I think as a mobile op.
