Default Tip for CMP red lamp lens

The mini maglite red lens fits the CMP rear lamps. OD: 7/8. A bit thin but does the job.

Available around, stores, ebay etc.

Just a tip

Default Buy twice as many as you need

Hi Svenn

Good idea if you find some that fit buy more than you need they fade, get broken or lost and six years out it is hard to find matching color.

Years ago I bought some heavy gauge theatrical light red jell sheeting and cut out a stock of them, now all gone so I'll follow your suggestion and see if I can find some on-line.

The what ever stock try to find transparent rather than translucent tail lights will be brighter.

Cheers Phil

I use the little red jewels that you get at a hot rod shop. There are blur red and Yellow. i put the Yellow on the front and with 12 volt LED bulbs they definitely stand out especially if they are your only lights.

I would always salvage the extra lenses from the scrap military flashlights. A lot of the guys didn't even know they were stored in the battery cap. Then, with a gasket hole punch, I could make 2 cmp lenses out of 1 flashlight lens. Best of all, it was at a price a Manitoban could live with.....free.
