Default What vehicle is this

Hi All

My brother has just returned from some time away in the bush and took a photo of this vehicle he found, he thinks it could be military but I do not recognise the shape, anyone have any ideas.

I thought the rounded guards had a familiar look, thanks mate I will tell him it is not military.
