Default Mont St Quentin, 1918

Just finished reading Dr Peter Stanley's book 'The Men of Mont St Quentin', the story of the 13 men of 9 Platoon, 21 Battalion, 1AIF, who were involved in the taking of 'The Mont' on 1 September 1918.

Stunning piece of research and very well written (as always with Peter's work). Peter doesn't take anyone's word for it, analyzing previous accounts and debunking some long-held views about the action.

Fantastic book, well worth the $$
