Does anyone know if David Hayward's extensive study on CMPs was ever published? I believe he was doing this as a thesis?

Clive,
IIRC his thesis was on General Motors production, but he was indeed working on a CMP book. His publisher passed away shortly before he did.... Would be best to contact his familiy, I believe Richard Farrant has their contact details. Hanno

Its so sad he has died and it would be a great shame if his research ended up in a rubbish bin. Hopefully somewhere like the Royal Logistics Corp Museum could have it for future generations.

There is a big book on the Ross rifle that was picked up by a second author when the first author died before completing the project. There is a distinct change in the style as you read from cover to cover.
