Default gmc 6

hi i have an engine i would like to id i bought it 3o years ago as a possible up grade for my c60s cmp[ Chev blitz hear in aus] it was in a 5o/s Chev car that had been turned into sort of stationary power supply and been half stripped again after woods it had the remains of a hamilton standard propeller govern hooked up to it i just assumed at the time it was a blue flame any way a description of it has 2 acorn nuts holding down rocker cover which has gmc on it oil filler on right side of block on the machined pad next to distributor it has the code ACL 3898 on the sump on both sides half way down it has what looks like oil pump fittings including on the left what looks like the pressure valve adjuster the exhaust comes out the top at the front it has the low side plates it apears to be bolted to the cars belhousing it also has a bolt on bottom piece to the sump about 8 inches square
any ideas what size and will it swap with a 216 hears alink to a pic thanks bj

Definitely a 270. It will measure up to be about an inch and a half longer in the block than a 216.
