Here's my newest addition. I tucked it into the corner at work so I can work on it in my spare time. I know, I know she's pretty rough but I can see beyond it all. Plus cab 11's don't show up in the Toronto area too often. Check out the wooden spoke wheel differential added as a winch after the war.

Give a good body man 15 minutes and he will have it fixed........
Do me a favour, can you measure the distance from the front fo the tank to the filler neck.......should be eaither 6.25 or 9.25 inches..... and maybe include a picture of the full top sode of your tank. Meanwhile get yourself a portable outboard motor plastic fule tank from CTC. Cheers

On your cab 11 tank....... the cover with the reserve valve..... what is it made of.....brass or white metal/steel???
On the second FAT tank.... where is the filler neck??? When you say FAT you are referring to a Field Artilery Tractor.... is it a Ford??? or Chev. Much appreciated. Bob C. PS.... I beleive that the fuel tanks are the same except that they are flipped and reversed from side to side....... in other words your FAT tank from the passenger side may fit the driver's side of your cab 11 as long as the inner seam is near the frame.

Hi Bob
I'll check what it's made of when I get to the shop in the morning. Now that it's out of the weeds I can have a closer look tomorrow at those fuel tanks on the FAT when it gets delivered. Yes it's a 41 Ford Cab 12 Field Artillery Tractor. I just bought it from Stew Robertson. He told me it was a remnant from Bill Greggs collection that didn't go west. It has a different type of roller on the rear. Maybe there is a different set up with the fuel tanks? Once I get it to the shop I'll start it's own thread.

You must have been using a metal detector.
Here are some pictures of the rear fairleads on a cab 11 Chev...... this model has a shaft that runs the full width of the rear...... Horizontal pulley are more exposed and larger. Next the other style found on cab 13 such as the C60...... Cheers

Before as found and cleaned up. Cheers
