In the mid 1950's, this was our Sunday School bus. The bus body sits on a 1942-47 Ford 1 ton chassis and was purchased as government surplus.
Can anyone tell me who the body builder or builders might have been? The bus served in the RCAF in the Montreal area. Thanks, Joe. |

Only ever seen the Dodge 3/4-ton 4x4 with wooden coach work, or the 1/2-ton Chev Carryall used in RCAF service in these parts, Rob, but with the number of BCATP bases here in Manitoba, I have often wondered what their compliment of transport vehicles would have been made up of during the war.
