"open Air" replica
 This Cab 12 has been restored to represent one of the most famous of Australian CMPs, the Royal Mailtruck from the Back of Beyond. Owned by Allan Wright and rebuilt by Don Warner, this is an accurate representation of the Back of Beyond mailtruck.  It was trucked to Marree in outback Australia to take part in the Back of Beyond 50th celebrations, and the launch of the double DVD, the Back of Beyond Collection, which is available through the Last Mail from Birdsville website.  The DVD set has the complete Back of Beyond plus special features on one DVD and the other our Last Mail from Birdsville program plus the 1986 ABC Countrywide story (featuring several CMPs) and the 1996 Australian Story about Tom's search for parts in the rebuilding of his Leyland Badger.
