Hello All,
I found this photo on the National Archives of Canada web site. It shows First World War SP mounted Anti-Aircraft guns. The photo dates from Oct. 1916. The guns look like 18 pounders or possibly 13 pounders. |

I have found a reference to these SP AA guns in the book Artillery by John Batchelor and Ian Hogg. They are 18 pdr guns which have been re-lined down to 3 in (from 3.3 in), and fire a 13 pdr shell using the 18 pdr cartridge. They are mounted on a Peerless lorry.
