Do you mean the crown and pinion gears? The crown gear is the big one.
The differential is the part with the spider gears in it.

Peter, the crown wheel (matched with pinion) is mostly riveted to the carrier.
The side of the carrier is bolted on. You remove it to get in to the differential (side and spider gears) I guess it gets complicated when some of us call the whole thing "the diff"

to make it clear, i am looking for a complete 5.83 ratio crown/pinion with or without differential.
