WW-1 we see two types of wicker cartridge baskets:
1) with 4 wooden sticks on the outside to change the cone (shape of cartridge) into a cylinder . 2) idem, but without sticks, but extra wicker rings with protecting leather. The last we see them used on mules, hanging from the saddle. [IMG] ![]() hébergeur images[/IMG] ![]() photo libre Who knows if the 2nd type was used in a limber or ammunition carriage? I don’t have a photo that proves this. Koos |
