The US Army trialed an 8x8, possibly a 6x6? But I'm sure there was no series production.

There was a XM408, but it was based on the early M151. The truck shown by the original poster is a M151A2, and judging by the roll cage and grill cover a ex-Canadian one at that.

I remember people in the lower 48 welding this kind of stuff together, get out the plasma cutter and make it a 151A2 again,
