Does anyone have any T16 prices to hand, say over the last 5 years? I've been asked to price up some carrier projects a chap has and I know what the asking prices over the last few years are but not what they are ACTUALLY fetching.
My ball park would be as follows: Wreck: £3-5k Complete uncut part restored project: £15k Perfect restored runner: £25-30k I'd also be interested in anyone's thoughts on Windsor and British Universal carrier prices across the same brackets. I've a good handle on the Loyd market. Note that I'm not interested in asking prices, but actual sale price - there can be a substantial difference! I guess sale time is also of interest, for instance the last restored Loyd to sell took two years to find a buyer and some of the more expensive UCs appear to pop up on the market year after year! Ps. I was told today that a complete unrestored original condition T16 from Pounds was sold for £30k about 15 years ago, I find that hard to believe, does that sound plausible?

reckon you're about right on your prices. a universal carrier would be anywhere between £25k - £50K depending on originality and attention to detail

Prices change...
The T16's don't tend to fetch as much as the universals, but trends can change.

We sold ours for $56K cash (US Dollars) three years ago but it was a pretty meticulous ground up restoration to original wartime British configuration.
