FREE CMP tailgate to good home. FREE
Ive got an original CMP tailgate available if anyone wants it for free. It would only be good for a pattern in making a new one. It is heavily rusted out.
I can bring it to the OMVA swap meet in Acton. Or if someone wants to drive down and collect it from that's fine too. If no one wants it, I'll be tossing it in the local Fire Brigades scrap bin at the corner.

getting a CMP tailgate home
Why did my mischievous mind see Koltan perched on the seat of a motorcycle, with the CMP tailgate slung over both shoulders like a pair of crude wings? Swerving through traffic, clipping car mirrors, finally catching bit of lift and gracefully rising above the fray.
(I have way too much imagination ....)

Jordan parting with this tailgate couldn't have come at a more convenient time; I have just begun working on a CMP that is missing its tailgate at the ONTR Museum. It was just last week that the team and I were discussing making one up for it. This will be perfect for making a pattern! Thanks again Jordan!
Terry, I am responsible for a Triumph TRW at the museum and your vision does seem a little too fun not to make a reality! Although that might risk it being damaged before Chris converts it into his headboard!
