In the 1950's the Dutch truck producer DAF built a oil servicing truck based on the famous DAF YA-328. Some of these trucks were sold too the US Airforce in Europe and possible to the French airforce. Who has got any information concerning these vehicles? Please respond.

Evening Hans:
Are you interested in the basic vehicle or just the US/French variants? I believe I have somewhere an original DAF catalogue for the complete YA-YF range and could scan some of the data if that is what you need. Please let me know. Bill Murray

Evening Hans:
Well, I found the catalogue and while it does have a page on the YF-328 it was not much help. The images were very poor and not worth posting. The only technical information that are exclusive to the YF is that it had a 750 gallon/2800 litre tank and a heating system that allowed it to pump grade 1100 oil at 100 litres per minute at -40 degrees F. On the other hand, the catalogue also covers the general specifications of the range of DAF military trucks circa 1955 numbering about 25 or so different variants including trailers. If any of that type of information is of use to you, please let me know. Bill
