In some photographs of the C8A Heavy Utility, Wireless it appears that the rails supporting the sliding hatch are shorter than on other models. Is this true? If the rails were the same length as other models, wouldn't they interfere with the placement of the aerials?
Also does anyone have any pictures of the HUW interior? I've seen a few photos but they don't tell the whole story. Thanks. |

I have noticed a difference in the length of the roof rails, seems to be connected to the HUPs or HUMs use and was it fitted with the canvas penthouse. Vehicles with penthouses fitted seemed to have the rail extended out over the curve at the rear of the body. To provide for better weather protection.
I have replaced rails on my HUP will dig out the drawings I gave the sheet metal shop if they would be of use.
