Default CMP Spotted on Discovery Channel

Watched the moving of the Cape Harreras Lighthouse & Light keepers' home in North Carolina on Thursday night. When moving the home,(in about a ten second frame)spotted what looked like the front of a CMP with the distinctive slanted windscreen,(Thought I was seeing things!).The truck front was white. So today,Friday,it was on again.Sat there till the scene came on again,et voila! the white cab of a CMP pulling the house.Watch for it.

O heck, I cam in on the middle of that show and missed it. Was on again Friday afternoon, but I was out. Been searching online photos of the moves, but no signs of a CMP yet.

Psst, Garry...it's spelled Hatteras Lighthouse.

I know it well, black and white stripes and all.

I hope it's going to be repeated on Discovery.

Frontiers of Construction/Movers Not Shakers

Was on Friday here (Winterpeg), at 1 and 2 a.m. - next showing in Discovery is Sunday at 6 a.m. - will set to record, as I'm not going to say up late or get up early for that!

Still havent found any shots from Expert Home Movers or International Chimney or Hatteras websites showing truck.

I was having no luck finding such a listing. I thought perhaps your memories were drifting during tame parts of "The Sex Files", or "American Chopper", when POW!...there it is!

In the Toronto area, Sunday 20 March, 700 AM, Discovery, "Frontiers of Construction".

My wife just casually said, "I've seen that program before". :

Well, there it was at about 732 AM Sunday morning. A white painted 13 cab CMP involved in the moving of the lighthouse keepers house. Too bad that there was a big ugly yellow piece of construction machinery blocking most of the approx 5 second view.

Oh crap, I went to bed and forgot to set the DVD to record this a.m. Show will be repeated eventually - I keep forgetting to keep track of Relic Hunter for that CMP that turns up in one episode (not to mention LIndy Booth) - I think it was pretending to be a Chinese truck - show is shot in TO area, anyone out there know whose it was?
