Interesting is this article https://www.3squadron.org.au/indexpages/history1.htm Back when the VMVC began providing help for the Melbourne ANZAC day march, I was allocated the WW1 AFC vetetans in my jeep. The chap I had one year was a pilot, he mentioned he was flying RE8's.
