Has anyone ever seen any pictures of the R103 set or it's antenna mounted in a staff car?

Hi Stan,
Not an answer to your question, but this thread may be of interest: Canadian staff car wireless: World War 2 Canadian R103 Receiver Demo

Th R103 manual doesn't help either. It describes (but without pictures) the aerial (7' telescoping) and the lead but is silent on the base.
There is a set carrier that the receiver slides into but again the manual doesn't say how this carrier is mounted or where. |
