Default Dodge CC. I.D.

These scenes could be in British Burma or maybe in the Dutch East Indies. Anybody got any thoughts ? French in Vietnam ?

The radio is a U.S. SCR 193, the generator is the US pattern battery charger. The radio chest is sitting up higher than the normal positioning, it's been modified.

Years ago a NEI veteran sent me a pic of his SCR 193 radio in use , so I can confirm that the Dutch did have the set in use in the post war conflict.

Default French Army in Indochina

The registration number on the Dodge in the first photo looks French.

The second photo also appears on this page: https://j28ro.blogspot.com/2011/04/t...indochine.html

So I'd say French Army in Indochina/ Vietnam

Thanks. Vietnam it is. I learnt French 4 years of it at high school but all I can recall is the basics.
