Hi there

This is a portion of a large photo showing Australian troops coming ashore from US LST's somewhere in the SWP.

The truck's a Blitz, but what's the trailer?

Was it something like this one?

"MOROTAI, BORNEO 1945-12-20. A SEMI TRAILER FROM THE 2/27TH AUSTRALIAN TRANSPORT PLATOON BEING LOADED WITH SUPPLIES BY A JAPANESE PRISONER OF WAR WORK PARTY AT NO. 1 WHARF."

Interesting point to note that this is another type of CMP fitted with 8.25 20 tyres in service.

the CMP trailer is a No.3 McGrath (Aust) 7 ton GS (Aust), the same as the one towed by the Ford Prime movers.
