Lets's see. So far my schedule is;
Arrive at my overpaid government job at 9-30
go to coffee at 9-35
go to lunch at 11-30 with some collecting buddies
get back to the office at 3-00
close the door and nap until 3-45
make two phone calls (one personal)
leave at 4-00 for Grace O'Malleys so that I am not late
Get together with the Ottawa Rotters at 5-45 and complain about the backlog of work on my desk

Default I Have Just the Cure for That Problem...

Contractor Stress Relief = A jar of Guinness;

Non-Contractor Type Stress Relief = 6 Months Stress Leave with Pay!

I'm sure Bill will have some sound advice for you, Clive.

Cheers!

Default Looking for a Date?

Alex,

Who cares? Just be at Gracie's every Thursday night from now on...

Like the tv ad says: a little clarity goes a long way. That would be this Thursday, at the Olgivie Road Gracie's.

Now for you airdales, I know telling time is difficult (except when you exemplify 6:30). Just find a non-air type and ask him/her what time it is and judge accordingly. I know it is an air force tradition to be late (Objective's taken! Resupply underway - evacuate the position CSM, the air support will be coming in soon...), so we will warm up the servers for you.

See ya at Gracies!

Heard recently on Cdn Forces radio: "The time is now 2300hrs, for you Navy types that's 6 bells and for you Army types Mickey's big hand is on the twelve and his little hand is on the eleven."

Default MINUTES OF THE MEETING

Well, Wild Bill put on a good show tonight - pictures will be posted later...

The Ottawa Rotters outdid themselves this time - two, count them, two young ladies succumbed to Bill's charm.

Unfortunately, a few of the stalwarts were unable to attend this auspicious occasion.

Bob Carriere had painted himself into a corner – literally!

Mike Calnan was busy stacking CMPs into the barn – his challenge is to figure out how to fit 20 trucks, guns and trailers into a barn designed for 10.

Bill filled us in on the collecting woes in Eastern Canada (for you westerners, that means the Maritimes and Newfoundland).

Clive updated us on Service Publications newest offerings (visit the website http://www.servicepub.com/ for a complete list of great books) .

Alex provided an update on George Blackburn’s condition – it seems George is faring quite well.

I had the pleasure of providing excuses for the no-shows, and to update the chaps on my latest acquisition, a F-15 chassis and cab (not having seen it yet, I can’t give to many details…) -graciously picked up on my behalf by the hearty souls of the S&P Museum (http://calnan.com/swords/index.html).

Our winsome serving lasses provided us with a lot of pauses in the conversation while charging our glasses with Ireland’s best brew.

The best line of the night – one of the gals told Alex that he needed a new mug….It just gets better and better at Gracies!

When I last saw the rest of the Rotters, they were still appreciating the view(s). I’m guessing the meeting will adjourn sometime tonight…Alex or Clive can report on the goings on thereafter.

Default From Bob's Free Press.....

...according to the Hammond Free press.... much to do about nothing....

Must have been the influence of Clive's deboner and suave... any ways we usually get only one waitress this time they got two....

........ sorry to say I missed the galla event but I had been handcuffed to a paint brush...... and it was not OD color!!!!

Note that the instigator to all these gathering is always hidding behind the camera.....

Ah yes, bringing a touch of class to what would otherwise be nothing more than a rowdy brawl.

Clive speaks with great wisdom, slippery tounged devil that he is..And we wound it up shortly after the photo guy left...
What a great time we had and the young ladies were buzzing around all night bringing the suds and just being so social..
Our shedule is dictated by Bill's frequent trips to Ottawa and are open to any and all who share like interests...so we would like to hear from anyone that would like to be included in our meetings..We even encourage Jeepers...
As usual ..a fun time was had by all.

Default Moves..

From Bill Mulholland

As usual, an excellent time had by all. Clive the suave had the seat of honour this time........ bugger. Upon my next foray into the wilds of the Ottawa Valley, I will try a more covert approach so to sneek quietly into Gracies so I can have all the lovlies to myself!
Not withstanding the above, I was as usual, hosted by the redoubtable Alex,Rob, and Clive to an evening of great cameraderie, frivolity, and bull...! I also recall some excellent "Kilkenny" going down range. So, until the next time.SLAINTE!

If your special needs revolve around food and beverages, then yes, these wonderful young lasses can take care of those needs. If you had other "special" needs, then we would consider moving the meeting across the river to one of the more "culturally" active establishments.

The only problem would be that no one would be speaking...experience shows that much drooling and gawking occurs and very few lies get told at the alternate meeting place.

Now, if your needs are more profound, and you really want to get screwed, immigrate and start paying Canadian taxes...

Default meeting place

Being a country boy the meeting place across the river might be to much of a shock for me to handle. I'll stick with the food and bweverages, especially the food. You Canadians can make really nice pies.

When we come over next we'll have too have a meeting and catch up. On our last visit we managed too catch up with Geoff so it will be good to meet the rest of you as well.

Only in Kanadaw they say!!!!!

This is an official welcome from the Royal Rusted Old Ottawa Truck nuts.... co-chaired by myself and Rob Clarke..... or is it Rob Clarke and me!!!!

Default frying pans

thats better Ma.

Master Made Max

Bob, nothing wrong with a bit of cow manure, as a young lad I remember standing in a fresh cow pad to keep my toes warm on a frosty morning, had to wipe my feet before I was aloud in the house.
