C60 numbers for David's registry...
Hi David
Just a quick word to say that I was looking at a "parts" truck... just East of Ottawa .......the proverbial story... it belonged to the wife's grampa..... will restore some day soon.... has not moved or run for 7 years...... and will not sell... ...but got the numbers off the dash plate. C60448 M - GS - 9 Chassis Ser. 2844339880 eng. ser. PR3890588 order # LV1515 dated.... MAR 3 - 43 .... as usual the frame has been shortened... no box... cab in bad shape....could have been a good donor for the power train. Hoping the numbers make sense and can add to your data bank.

Thanks for that one Bob! I have no other CDLV Canadian contracts known in the 1942 MODEL C60L database. I believe that the plate says something like:
GENERAL MOTORS OF CANADA CHASSIS MODEL C60448-GS-9 CAB MODEL 13 CHASSIS SERIAL 2844339880 ENGINE SERIAL PR3890588 ORDER LV 1515 DATE OF MFG Mar 3 43 I also have knowledge of the existence of 2844339827
