Default Close Fire Support: Sexton SP and 23rd Field Regiment...

Canadian Military History, Volume 16 No. 4 has an article by Andrew Iarocci called Close Fire Support: Sexton Self-Propelled Guns of the 23rd Field Regiment. The author thanks veterans William Turner, Clifford Baker, Larry McNabb, Larry Hollerman (sic) Herb Danter and John Wilkes for their contribution. All are veterans of the 23rd Field Regiment. Some great pictures of the Sexton. I find it interesting that the radial engine used 100 octane!

Other articles of note in this volume are The Guns of Bretteville. 13th Field Regiment, RCA and the defence of Bretteville-l'Orgueilleuse, 7-10 June 1944.
First Deployment of the 14th Field Regiment, RCA D-Day Bernieres-sur-Mer 6 June 1944.
