Hi Mike
By saying the "mk1 seat backrest" do you mean the backrest for the driver. If so it is 14 1/2" wide and 25 1/2" long. I used plywood that is slightly over 3/8" thick. These measurements are taken off of my original. I do not have any dimensions for the "board blanking". I would just make slightly larger then the hole in the division plate. Why do you need dims on this, I thought you made one out of expanded mesh steel?

Jordan , thanks for the measurements, Yes I did make blanking board out of mesh , but it was a ruogh square cut, basiclly to cover the hole, but want a wooden one made just for show, i'm in a sticky wicket again , I have a mk1 drivers seat but no gunners seat so I i'm just going to make a Mk2 gunners seat , fairly easy , just all angle iron& bits, but both seat backs are a mk1 , this is so in my travels if i come across a mk1 seat i'll install it. Lets just say my Mk1/Mk2 is a mixed bag even putting sum Mk3 parts in it purhaps. Cheers
