Hey whats the best material to use between the right and left mufflers on the UC rear bottom wall to block heat to the gas tanks or am I better of with nuthing??

Hi Mike
I asked this not too long ago. I can't remember what thread the reply was in. However I think the reply was not to bother due to the heat not getting to great.

Hi there!
Well in the past I have used the modern replacement for "fibro" aka "AC sheeting" which contains no asbestos. Can be known as Fibre cement sheeting. Worked fine in a CMP dog kennel and Aust carrier lower engine side covers. Phil... ![]()

Well trying to find a pic of them but not much to see as they are encased in tin. Oh and BTW not my carrier but a mates one that he stores and works on here... i'm into bigger toys like a stuart tank and even got a LVT4. Anyway will post a pic when I find them... Phil... ![]()

Cool Mate My Friend just bought a Stuart ware I live in the USA ,(NEW ENGLAND) if you Google up "Iron Yankee" you'll see Jon's Stuart and Halftracks, Cheers

Aircraft cowls are usually lined with thin insulating sheet material tha works great for MVs and is relatively inexpensive. Glue it down with high temperature red silicone.
