Default Airshow held at Carswell AFB, Ft. Worth

Here are some pics from the airshow this weekend at Carswell AFB. If you've ever seen Jimmy Stewart's movie, "Strategic Air Command", then you've seen Carswell. They used to fly B-36's, B-47's, and B-52's from there.

The Snowbirds fly much tighter formations, sniffed he.

For those of you who don't realize how big Galaxies are, here's a pic of a B-52 being loaded into one.

Default Great nose art

Here's a shot of a privately owned BAC Strikemaster with the owner on the wing. Not too bad!

Now we have to establish, if it is the strikemaster that is lovely, or its owner, who unless my eyes are failing is a lovely lady.

May be she needs a crew chief.

Regards

Col Tigwell

Great collection of photos, much appreciated.

Perhaps a more appropriate name would be Strikemistress? She introduced herself as ???? Rice, I couldn't hear over the F-16 demonstration...the author perhaps? That would go along with the nose art.
