Default Australian army recognition models

Can anyone shed any light on whether the Australian Army during WW2, made vehicle recognition models- along the same lines as the US ones?

If they did, does anyone have any details on them?

I would have thought there would have been some armour ones, not so much softskins.

When i was at bendigo swap last year, a model toy vendor had 2 models of a bren gun carrier. quite nice, but obviously crude and made fast- the tell tale sign i think they werent reco models, was the fact they have passengers- 3 soldiers. If i had more moneya t the time i would have bought one for curiosities sake.

I also found this 'toy' one on ebay and was just wondering!

It looks very familiar doesnt it? (no really, does it? because i dont know my commonwealth armour that well? )

Ian.
