is this a CMP truck

Not a expert on these, German driving a CMP Truck?.

Hello Keith,

Yes it is a CMP Cab 11 15-cwt 4x2 truck, either Ford or Chevrolet. No doubt someone else can point out the details to determine the manufacturer.

I have flipped the picture as it was a RHD truck.

I think it's a chev judging by the mirror arms, but since the mirrors and headlights appear to have been changed, who knows if the arms are original. It also appears to have had a product improvement in that the petrol filler neck was extended. The originals were a bugger to fill, with a short neck buried well underneath the tool box.

If I recall the Fords had the exposed radiator cap and the Chevrolet had the radiator cap under the hood. Therefore this would be a Ford.

Yeah, I thought about the rad cap afterwards.

I spotted the rad. cap as well. Chevs have a goose neck radiator filler tube that is accessed by undoing the 'bonnet' nuts and removing the bonnet .

The headlights have a German look about them to me.

Over the years I have come across a handful of Cab 12 C15 trucks here in Australia, used to be one in the Ryan collection up at Shepparton , and another down near Geelong, plus the camo one that used to turn up at Corowa.. almost forgot the example at Boisdale Gippsland that I could have bought. The Ford version is exceedingly rare here... one definite ( MLU member) that I know of.
