Ken, see Posting Images, and if that fails, e-mail them to me and I'll put them up for you.

thanks Hanno for posting the f30 photo, i know what was wrong now ,and that the original photo was scanned with the scanner background around it and i confused myself trying to edit it!!.

anyway the f30 is just about finished,i have good tires on it now and a canvas from an RL fitted to the frame on the deck
The wirring loom will be finished early in the new year and fitted then, with some mods done to it like modern fuses and indercators fitted

Nice one Ken. Do you have a photo of it before you started your 11 years restoration job. You must be proud of your work.
Tell us all about it.

thanks again Hanno for posting these photos.

well the photo of the ford on a track by trees is the one
i got first, and it had been sitting for 18 yrs not turning over .
it was totaly neglected, everything smashed and wrecked.
the engine was complete and still turned over.

Hi Ken. your first picture posted looks awesome .Its allways good to see the before and after pictures, just shows how much work goes into restoring these vehicles. Will you be taking her up to Omaka at all ? keep up the good work, David...

the second photo was taken in an old shed that had been a paint shop,it leaked something bad,but was all i could get and was only 100yds from the beach,so you can imagine the salt air on steel!
anyway the truck at the stage seen here had the motor and gearbox and the radiator done
the correct cab(1942) top and back fitted,as you may notice the cab( in the photo under the tree) has sharp rear roof corners, also a small back window fitted, this was known here in nz as a korean cab.
refitted by nz army for the korean conflict around 1950

the next photo is where the truck is now,in a dry barn with concrete floor, this is where it gets interesting.
this is the second f30,the reason being that the first had an undersealed chassis that was rough and the cost of sandblasting was more than the second truck, with a very clean chassis and 20,000 miles on the speedo, but no motor
or front engine cross member fitted.
it had had a fordson tractor engine fitted.more soon, ken.
