Hello all,

This years Bussum Bridgehead event will be held from friday May 9 till sunday May 11.
This is one of Europe´s biggest and definitely most convincing re-enactment events, as it is held on the site of a derelict village, Dutch Army training grounds.
About 300 re-enactors take part from all over Europe, and they bring along at least 50 vehicles. With these a liberation run will be held on saturday, ending with a static display and dance in front of the Bussum town hall.
Sunday the Allied transit camp anno 1945 is open to the public. last year we welcomed 15.000 visitors on the single day, and actually created a traffic jam on the highway exit.
