I also found this vehicle in my travels, which is interesting as I like Bren Gun Carriers and it is different. The bloke who owns it used it for contracting work and house foundation preparation, he stopped using it when the housing game became too competitive and the competition started to sabotage his equipment.
The vehicle is fitted with the Aust 3" track, he has removed the rubber from the wheels to stop the tracks jumping off and also welded steel tubing around the coil springs in the suspension (why?- not sure). The vehicle has a temp engine cover from a Bren Gun Carrier. It has also been fitted with a Timken 2 speed diff in the front, dozer blade on the front and highly modified seating arrangment for driving. When asked about what sort of money would interest him, the price started at $1000 upwards included the price of the other 3 trucks that were bought over the years to keep it going. He also claimed to have the sides, however I never saw them.

As you can see from the various sizes of the photos I am still learning on re-sizing photos!!
The Loyd engine which is seized with the Bren Gun Carrier engine cover.

The rear of the Loyd.

The suspension unit showing the tubing welded to the coil spring, or possibly the coil spring has been removed and the tubing welded in its place.

Another shot showing the side of the vehicle. As you can see, it is located down in a quarry and over the years vehicles have come and slowly piled up around it. This would make it quite a hard recovery.

Unhappy Photo size

Mate those photos are way too small to see in any detail.

Can you have another go and try again, 'cause I'm dying to see them.

Thanks bloke!

I have resized the photos and will have another go at posting them, they are a lot bigger to show up the detail.
