Default Carrier Photo Vol 2

Now that volume 1 of Universal Carriers is ticking away, volume 2 has been spread out and the Scots dictionary laid close by!

I would like for the cover of Volume 2 a colour photograph of one of the following restored carriers with crew appropriately kitted out.
Universal MkII, MkII*
Universal MkIII
Windsor
T16
Mortar
MMG
Any Variants

I just need one photograph for the cover and will choose best. Free volume 2 and credit in book on offer. Photo to be scanned at 300 resolution for printing and be minimum of 7x5. Deadline for photographs 10 October 07.

Whilst on the subject of photographs I would like to put out an official request for vol 3 photographs and information. As you may know part of volume 3 will be made up of carrier veteran stories and photographs and present restored carriers and their owners. I would like to record this information which will eventually take to the v8 highway. So please if you are interested could you send me any veteran accounts (particularly those veterans who were directly involved with carriers. All carriers, variations including those used post war). Photographs to accompany text would be great. Short accounts of their exploits involving carriers rather than their memoirs.
Then your photographs of your restored (or not) carriers. These are just for a record to show all our carriers, the work we have done on them (or have to do on them!), where they are etc. A short writeup about yourself with or without photo, the main events you go to, that type of thing. Photos scanned at 300dpi (resolution), and text as Word doc if possible.
Deadline for these is 28 February 2008

Thanks
Nigel

Talking Cover boy

Surely it's got to be the photo that Jordan has just posted....even if it's not the right carrier. ( not that I know )

That's got to be the face of something.

Pedr

No more entries required, competition closed hahaha

Thumbs up We've got the ball...

My guess is that between Messrs Baker, Loy, Parker and Fitton alone, we can come up with something pretty damned good. I'll Viarail m'self down there for that one in battledress I reckon! No worries, Nigel.

We'll work on the rest of it, too, as should you Aussies! Let's make this a world-wide effort!

Yes you should have. We can tell by that smile that you have restored a carrier, and I'll bet ya that it makes Nigels book(as long as your not under age.
