Hi Steve

Agreed not so many photos around of the Shelvoke conversion but this shot should satisfy you, around 200 were thus converted to semi but i have yet to find pictorial evidence of one in actual combat use for instance in use in NW Europe. All the photos i have are either factory or posed, so were they just used to ferry tanks in the uk. A very small number were purchased after the war, two by Crook and Willington heavy haulage in the UK but what about the rest they were surely to good to all be scrapped following service, at the moment it remains one of those DT mysterys unless of course, unless Davids records can reveal something
