There were plans for the rifle butt holder in Convoy Magazine, volume 7-1. I don't know if anyone has them available or if that issue is still available from Marc Montgomery. The Convoy plans show a butt socket that is deeper at one end than the other, surviving samples I've seen were the same depth at both ends. I can't tell if this was a change during production for simplicity or a replacement that wasn't built to "official" plan.

CAUTION: I've noticed that the Convoy Magazine drawings have dimension problems. Specifically, the insde dimensions plus the wall thickness stated do not match the outside dimensions given. I don't have data on which dimension is the problem.
