Hi Andrew, awesome work on the halftrack....just curious being in Ontario, why US reg numbers not Canadian? Reason I ask is I am considering putting USA markings on one of my vehicles as well

As to the USA ident, I had a few ask me that question. During my research, no M4A1s were given to allied during the war. Also, under lend lease no white halftracks were given to Canadians, the internationals were, m5 and m9s. I was lucky enough that the ord number was stamped on my frame. In the end i wanted more original looking. During the war you will see pics of Canadians and British in USA marked white halftracks, but i can only assume that was loaned/given in the theater of war? Also, Americans had a different ord system than Canadians so knowing my number played a part. And lastly, they all had the stars anyway (allied), the only difference would be the ord number on the hood and squad markings on bumpers
