Sorry Kevin, I could not read the WD number in the photo. The Regimental history was published in 1947 and the photo is very grainy.

I noticed in your list of tank names for HQ in the 5TH Brigade you have a M5A1 Stuart "Toronto". Years ago, talking to the late Bill Gregg, he mentioned that during the restoration of his M5A1 they uncovered the name Toronto. I wonder if this is the same vehicle, now residing, I believe, in Shilo, Manitoba.

I don’t think so. The Canadians left their tanks in Holland after the end of the war. Only a hand full of AFV were returned to Canada. M5A1s were also used in Canada after the war, so most likely they are different tanks.
