Does any one else out here know of the numbering system of CGG,SAR or BCR. and how does the Fireflys fit in?? I cant figure out the combinations.

My Sherman VC is T289477... Was Struck Off Service 21 CAR June 45.

Name on tank... 'Gaucho'... But not known when this was applied.

Any info on this T number would be greatly appreciated.

That way i will learn the Sqn / troop he worked in.

You you '' Bomb '' is famous and still in existence in Sherbrooke don't you ?

I believe the name "Toronto" was assumed as a tribute on Greggs Stuart.
My uncle was the one who sandblasted that tank and the name Fury was what was found...
