I am wondering if any of my fellow collectors would be interested in a road trip to retrieve my M715 Kaiser Jeep pickup?
I am looking for someone who has the truck and trailer to handle a 5,500lb vehicle, approx 500 miles from mid Ohio to the Guelph Ontario area. Would require a weekend pickup (Sunday) with a border cross on a Monday morning. I am willing to cover all costs, including hotel, meals, fuel, bar bill, money for your time etc or come to an "equitable" agreement of some sort. Wanting to do in the next week or two. |

Chris:
You may regret the offer. Some of our forum members are insensitive boors and lousy conversationalists. You might end up agreeing to liking hiphop music and accepting that Jennifer Lopez is actually a talented actress. (Hint - satellite radio is your saviour.) Sounds like a one week roundtrip road trip from my neighbourhood, but I don't have "enough" vehicle for the task.

Terry, I am facing the same dillema. My truck is capable but not quite what I would really want to use. I am thinking F250/C2500 up with a hauler of 5 ton cap.
I do understand having to "compromise" as my work frequently puts me in social situations. I want my toast buttered/unbuttered, country/rap/hip-hop gospel etc. I tend to make things work as required to my benefit if I can. Sometimes its cold soup and heated conversation but I survive... ![]() |

Chris..Run the other way. You can't afford Bob's bar bill.
You'd need the trailer just for beer. On the other hand, I have your parts here. Peter S |

Sorry Chris I have only a F150 and while good gfor hauling a mule or two, do not have a trailer for 55oolbs, but a good F150/1500 should do it towing wise, as your trailer will have the breaking power, your ovwerall towing should be ok, not stellar but ok, my truck has a rating to 7500pounds on its standard hitch and I do have the triton v8 (5.4L) so you may have some luck! Good luck!
PS How's the Mule coming? Bryan
