Anybody pass through Nanaimo?

I spotted a Cadillac flathead on Kijiji that should be suitable for the restoration of my Penguin (armoured snowmobile). The price is fair, but my problem is the location. It is in Nanaimo BC. Does anybody here pass through Nanaimo and could be talked into bringing these (one engine and possibly two cores) to the mainland? I would, of course, be willing to cover any costs with a couple bucks tossed in to pay for your time. The next challenge will be to get it over the rockies to Calgary or Edmonton from which I could pick them up.

If anybody can help or has some ideas please let me know.

I have an ex armoured corps friend who lives in Campbell River. He might be able to at least take possession pending a better planned pick up.

Rob....we'll do a bit of horse trading. I'll get them and store them here (Vancouver) in Pitt Meadows at my hanger. From there, we can figure out the Calgary thing. If you guys need a transfer point or storage point near Calgary, I am located in the Water Valley area (north of Cochrane). Im not exactly on the east/west mainline, but its an option if you dont have something better.

Have you worked out a plan yet? I could pick them up and palletize them to forklift onto a transport to ship direct to you if that was of interest.
