landmine roller?
hi all
i was looking through the ican website and noticed the item in the attached picture up for auction. is this a landmine roller for exploding mines? if so, what vehicle was/is used to propell it? thanks mike |

Mike, somewhere around I have a copy of a manual that lists all the types of vehicles onhand as of 1960 in the CF inventory.
I can`t recall the actual name of this manual, maybe Alex Blair has some. Anyhow it shows the above pictured item as an inventoried item used by the RCE

i must be loosing my #$%*!( mind down here!! when i spotted it on the ican site, my train of thought was that it was probably from the 70's and it never occured to me to check the manual you described.....which i have. attached is a cropped version of said page from the manual. there was also one with two rollers. cheers!! mike |
