Danish Army CGT
According to the Danish Army Vehicles website it's a modified CGT which looks about right. I wonder whether any have survived in this configuration?

Danish converted CGTs along the lines of the F22?
Alex, indeed Eric's CGT was once converted to a GS truck by the Danish Army. He is now converting it back to its WW2 configuration.
Keith, I have always wondered why the Danish Army modified these CGTs. Could it be that they had some F22s and liked them so much they converted some more? |

Hi all
Yes one have suvived in Denmark, its being restored, and there is rumors of another just be found. The army was surplied with american 105 mm guns at the same time as we got the Chevys, so they wanted a truck more like the short wheelbase GMC to haule the guns with. The flat bed is like the one on danish used Dogde Power Wagons just wider. The army only had very few of the smaller CMP, like C8 and C15, it was mostly C60 they used. And they didnt like them because of the pedal arangment.

Using it as a gun tractor makes more sense than using it as a "squad-car" as the Danish Army Vehicles website suggests. Thanks, Hanno

Here´s one in the UK (courtesy of HMVF) which looks like it could have been one of these conversions.

Hereīs one. It was originally imported from Denmark by Army Cars Holland, and bought and restored by Peter Albers around the turn of the century.
