Default E-Bay Carrier just sold

This carrier just sold on E-bay for $4,457.10 (Canadian), almost 40 bids and sniped up from $3,600 in the very last seconds. Located in Walkerton Ontario. If you're upset you missed it, there's another one from the same vendor on E-bay ending in a day or so. It's Mk 1 and while missing a lot of it's armour, unlike this first one it does have wheels, tracks, a motor and a transmission. (He is also listing a set of NOS tracks, still wound from the factory and said to have all 167 links. Now he's got my attention)

yeah i emailled this guy trying to see if he would split the armour from the hull initially he was up for it then folks started to bid. the tracks are original from factory still in their bundles sitting at circa $1000 on one of the pics you notice there is a third carrier in the backround must collect em i reckon. looks to be on some sort of farm i cant believe that one went for so much it is a right dog no tracks although lots of bits which are probably hard to come by. i have them all in my ebay at the moment

If they were from the factory they would be in sections of 21 links ? I'm not sure but something like that. I think they are off that carrier. Just sold that way to get a better dollar.

Default Second carrier sold...

...this Mk.1 went for $6,909.28 (Canadian) after 41 bids. The tracks are at $2,487 (CDN) with a day to go. I this just a case of crazy E-bay bidders? It's two for two now.

Its hard to say about the bundle of tracks and if they were like that out of the factory. They can't be the easiest to move around like that.

As for the price of the Carriers, personaly they are nuts paying that much for so little. Mine was a fair amount of money ($2000) but these are stupid amounts that they are going for on ebay. To me this is just a case of people not looking around enough and being dumb with ebay and getting carried away with an auction. Its easy to do as ive been there but not to that amount.

I don't know about you Jordan, but I went out to the garage tonight and gave my carrier a little pet on the fender. Might change the oil tomorrow.
