Hi Radek,
Just gone down to my workshop at checked the manuals. In the wartime military K3 book, the gearbox and axle were filled with SAE 140 gear oil. That may be a bit heavy ( or thick ) for the temperatures in your country. Also looked at a 1947 civilian book for the Austin K4 and for Overseas use, in colder climates, the gearbox has SAE 90 gear oil and the rear axle has EP90 or Hypoid 90 gear oil. Hope this is of help to you.

![]() In my experience of several types of Austins, I would go for the Overseas / Cold Climate recomendations in the K4 manual , ie; gearbox > SAE90 and r/axle > EP90 or Hypoid 90 best regards
