Default Speaking of CMPs in North Africa......

Hi there

Almost finished a Cab 12 Chevy-based 2-pounder Portee model. Started off with the Tamiya Ford FAT front end sheet metal, had to chop and channel it to the correct dimensions then graft it onto a llengthened Italeri Chev FAT chassis. The gun is the Soveriegn 2000 resin 2-pounder.

Looks very good! I always wonder, why not more such models are available "out of the box"...

The high developement costs involved and the low number of people willing to buy them makes it unviable from a commercial point of view. They need to sell 10,000 plus kits of any one item not just one or two hundred to recoup costs.

Steve that is an excellent model. Well done.

Great work Steve. I can even see a Chev badge on the hood. Is this from the Eduard PE set?
