| ARN Information Required

Hi all - a friend of mine has bought two International ACCOs and would like to know what, if any, service they saw. 1963 4x4 Mk3 - AMF 171115 - Chassis 1505 1968 6x6 Mk4 - AMF 171638 - Chassis 1823 I'll try for information here first before I trawl the AWM. Perhaps Tim Tam you could direct me to the right volume. Bob

A point of note, though. The Mk4 was a 4x4, while the 6x6 was an F1 or F2(aka Mk5). The actual chassis number on the chassis will clarify the situation, as these trucks will be stamped ADE4x41505 and ADE6x61823. |

Ok, I now have photos of the requisite entries from the ARN books 171-115 is actually chassis 1142, so no hit there. 171-115 is a general serice Mk.3, made in 1965. It was sold off in 1987. I'll keep an eye out for chassis 1505 as I transcribe the Mk.3 records. 171-638 was chassis 1823. It originally had chassis 1807 and is a Mk.1 F1, or general service 5 ton truck. Looks like it was aso sold off in 1987
