Default Carrier photos in service

Hi everyone

Sometime ago I obtained an old photo album full of tracked armour and thought I would share some of the carrier photos with you.

Hope you enjoy.
Matt

Hey Matt.

That isn't a .50 cai....It's a Boys Anti tank rifle ( .55 cal ).

This is the first photo that I have ever seen of an Aussie carrier with a Boys mounted in the gunners port.

...And this after I told Ray Carn that they were never mounted in the gunners port on Australia carriers. There is a specific Aust. carrier mount for Boys, but it mounts the rifle on the side armour. So I don't actually know how they have managed to mount this gun.

Is there a specific mount for the Boys in a British/Canadian carrier? ( as in, fits into the vickers mount position )

Pedr

Agreed, original private photos are also a highlight for myself.
I assume these may be photos from one of the Div Cav Regts in the middle east and then its return to northern Australia.
Regards.

Not in the database of current carriers as far as I can see - Salesman Bob may have more info.

Great pics by the way.
